Modelling the activities of the public health laboratory specialised in parasitic and infectious diseases set up in 2000 by the Ivo de Carneri Foundation on the island of Pemba – Zanzibar (Tanzania) with a view to its possible replication in other areas. This is the aim of the project promoted by the Ivo de Carneri Foundation of Milan and in which SEND is a partner together with the Ministry of Health – Zanzibar (Local Referent), and the PHL IdC – Pemba, Zanzibar. SEND collaborates to the modelling of the laboratory activities, to the preparation of a multimedia presentation project and to the research of partners for the scaling up.
